About Evensong:
Evensong has been sung daily in the Anglican Church since the sixteenth century, following the order of The Book of Common Prayer 1662. Evensong draws on the beauty of the ancient monastic traditions of Vespers and Compline, forms of evening prayer. Much of the service is sung by the choir. You are invited to internalize this worship by responding in heart and mind, setting aside your worries and anxieties for one quiet hour.
