Nursery Attendant
Love working with children and need a part-time job with a vibrant and fun church community? Join us as our nursery worker at St. Thomas Episcopal! We are a medium-sized Episcopal congregation in the Great Bridge area of Chesapeake, VA. We run a children’s Sunday school class for Kindergarten – 5th grade and provide nursery care for our children infant-5 years.
Part Time Bookkeeper
Time commitment will be approximately 8 hours each week. Per our personnel policy, we welcome applicants who are not active or not recently active at St. Thomas or relatives of members of the parish.
Qualifications and expectations:
- High school graduate or other degree.
- Previous experience with bookkeeping activities.
- Works well as a member of a group.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working in a faith community preferred.
- Willing to complete Episcopal Safe Church training.
- Successfully completes a background check.
Wage offered is $24/hour.
